MOORHEAD - Two men were arrested Thursday in connection with a Wednesday afternoon shooting here, and a third suspect is still on the loose, police Lt. Tory Jacobson said.
The shooting, at the victim's home at 1107 17th St. S., sent 23-year-old Anthony Alexander Sands to Sanford Medical Center, where he underwent surgery for arm and abdominal injuries. His condition was not being released.
Michael Andrew Crittenden, 23, of Moorhead, and Tyshawn Lanier Darden, 19, of Fargo, are being held at the Clay County and Cass County jails, respectively.
Darden was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder charges after a SWAT team raid and execution of a search warrant at his north Fargo apartment at 10:45 a.m. Thursday.
Jacobson said Crittenden was taken into custody at about noon Thursday after being interviewed about his involvement in the shooting. He's being held pending a felony charge of conspiracy to commit fifth-degree controlled substance crime, with additional charges possible.
