One man was injured in a van-motorcycle crash on Tuesday night.

A Grand Forks man was injured Tuesday evening in a collision with a motorcycle and car.

According to the Grand Forks Police, Albert T. Opp, 81, of Grand Forks, was driving north on Columbia Road at 8:19 p.m. when he attempted to turn left onto 22nd Avenue South and collided with a motorcycle going south on Columbia Road.

The driver of the motorcycle, Charlie Lundblad, 21, of Grand Forks, was ejected from the bike and landed on the berm. He was taken to Altru Hospital by ambulance and was in satisfactory condition by Wednesday afternoon, according to a nursing supervisor.

Opp was cited for failing to yield at an open intersection.
