AITKIN, Minn. -- The victim in Thursday's fatal, two-vehicle collision in Aitkin has been identified as Thomas P. Considine, 55, Crosby, the Minnesota State Patrol reported.

According to the state patrol's report on the crash, about 11:21 a.m. Thursday,  Considine was driving a GMC Sierra and pulling a trailer and pontoon southbound on Highway 169 when a Chevy Silverado driven by Vernon Thorsten, 88, Aitkin, pulled onto the highway from Red Oak Road in Aitkin and struck Considine's vehicle broadside, causing Thomas Considine's vehicle to roll over and land on its roof.

Considine died as a result of the injuries he suffered in the collision. A passenger, Cynthia Considine, 55, Crosby, suffered non life-threatening injuries and was transported to Riverwood Health System in Aitkin.

Thorsten also suffered non life-threatening injuries and was transported to Riverwood Health System in Aitkin.
