Grand Forks police have identified the man killed in a Saturday night crash.
Witnesses told police a white sedan hit the back of a pickup while both were northbound near the 900 block of South Washington Street at about 11:30 p.m. Saturday, a press release said. The pickup allegedly pulled over but the sedan continued northbound, then crossed into the southbound lane before it drifted back into the northbound lane and crashed into a signal pole near DeMers Avenue.
The driver of the sedan, 38-year-old Shaun Sabin of Grand Forks, was dead at the scene, the release said.
Grand Forks Fire Department, Altru Ambulance, Grand Forks Police Departments Crash Investigation Team and the Unmanned Air Support Team responded.
