One person was injured this morning in a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of 13th Avenue South and South Washington Street.
John Steinkuehler, 53, had to be extricated from the 2006 Chevrolet HHR he was driving after the vehicle was struck by a 1999 Ford F-150 pickup operated by Trevor Decoteau, 29, Grand Forks, at about 6:30 a.m., according to a report from the Grand Forks Police Department.
Decoteau was traveling northbound on South Washington Street when he apparently ran through a red light, striking the westbound Steinkuehler vehicle, which had been westbound on 13th Avenue, according to the report.
Steinkuehler was transported to Altru Hospital, where he was listed in satisfactory condition Monday afternoon.
Police are continuing the investigation.
