MANDAN, N.D. -- Officials have found an inmate who escaped from a correctional center in Mandan.

Authorities say around 17-year-old Malachi Redroad was captured around 11 p.m. Sunday.
Redroad and another inmate had escaped after attacking two guards Saturday. The other inmate has also been captured.

The conditions of the guards have not been released.

A teenager escaped from a correctional facility in Mandan and is considered dangerous.

The highway patrol says 17-year-old Malachai Richard Redroad escaped form the North Dakota Youth Correctional Center.

He allegedly assaulted two guards during his escape.

He's described as Native American, 6 feet tall and 150 pounds with brown hair and eyes.

Patrol says Redroad has a history of violence and should not be approached if you see him.
