UND expects it will reopen Wednesday after a blizzard forced the school to shut down Tuesday.
The school in Grand Forks announced it has extended its closure to 10 a.m. Wednesday so streets, parking lots and sidewalks can be cleared of snow and ice. Classes starting before 10 a.m. are canceled, but classes starting at 10 a.m. and after that time should be held as scheduled, said Peter Johnson, UND's interim vice president for univeristy and public affairs.
"Essential personnel should report to work on-time," Johnson wrote in an email. "Faculty and staff should periodically check for cancellations, delays and updates by monitoring the UND homepage and local media for more information."
