The American Red Cross said Monday that it will be receiving a $30,145 check for flood relief from UND and UND Athletics during the men's basketball game against North Dakota State tonight at Ralph Engelstad Arena.
The money came from sales of "We are one, we are North Dakota," T-shirts between August and October. Other groups also helped. CI Sport designed and manufactured the shirts at wholesale cost and License Resource Group waived royalties.
The nonprofit group said it has assisted 3,744 during the 2011 floods in North Dakota.
