UND sophomore Megan Onuong'a was one of scores of students in the Memorial Union's ballroom with her books splayed in front of her on Sunday, shoulder to shoulder with fellow students cramming for finals.

"So far, so good," Onuong'a whispered. She was prepping for a genetics exam-one of the hard ones, she said.

A crush of students filled the tables in the ballroom and spilled out into nearby hallways for the university's biannual Study-A-Thon, sponsored by Greek Life and UND student government. Complete with food and prizes-from FitBits to a television-the event was a chance for students to come together for a final night of studying before the week's semester-end exams began Monday.

Out in the hallway, Erika Hillstrom, a junior studying communication, was cramming hard with a friend. She said the event was going just fine.

"We're still here, so it's working out pretty well," she said with a laugh.
