Construction is slated to begin at the end of this summer on UND’s Wilkerson Hall, which serves as the hub for residence halls and the university’s biggest dining area.
The new building will provide a more spacious dining area with a wider variety of food choices while still housing the offices already in the building, like package pick-up and a computer lab.
The $29 million project could take up to two years to complete and will include a patio, amphitheater and fire pit outside of the building. The current architectural draft shows the building will have a modern design with many large windows.
