UND Police have arrested a 17-year-old male they say is a suspect in a burglary and sexual assault at a university residence hall Saturday.
According to a news release, UND Police officers arrested the youth Sunday. He faces charges of sexual assault, burglary and criminal trespass. A second suspect has also been identified, but police did not say whether he was in custody or provide further information about his identity.
The arrested suspect was not identified because he is a juvenile.
Police responded to Noren Hall early Saturday morning after a resident awoke to find a man attempting to remove her clothes, according to a Saturday news release. Investigators say that the suspect and another male had entered several rooms in the residence hall and taken items.
Neither of the suspects is affiliated with UND, according to police.
