UND President Mark Kennedy told members of the campus community the university's outlook is brighter with recent budget cuts behind it.
In an address to the University Council on Tuesday, Kennedy said that the university is moving on after the controversial cuts.
He said this school year enrollment is up among freshmen, the freshman class is more diverse than before and the university was able to recruit more highly sought-after students this year.
Kennedy said the state's higher-than-expected revenue forecast increases his confidence in the future and he says he doesn't see any more university budget cuts on the horizon.
