The UND Alumni Association will outline plans for new building projects at a 5 p.m. meeting today at the J. Lloyd Stone Alumni Center.
Alumni Association Executive Vice President Tim O'Keefe declined to discuss those projects in advance of the meeting, saying through a spokesperson that he hoped to tell the full story all at once.
The Alumni Association is requesting authority from the State Board of Higher Education to construct a new alumni center on campus. O'Keefe has said in the past that center would likely be built near the new Hopper-Danley Memorial Chapel, bordering the English Coulee.
The Alumni Association is also seeking state board approval to raze the current president's residence and construct a new house on that site and to construct an addition to the campuses' Harrington Hall to be named for a donor.
The state board will consider those requests at a meeting in Minot on Thursday.
