Student Government is proud to be able to represent and serve each of the more than 12,000 students at UND. Involving more than 200 students, Student Government strives to improve the University experience for the entire student body. Student Government officials work with students, administrators, faculty and staff, legislators, and community leaders on a regular basis in order to ensure that student interests are always kept at the forefront. Student Government provides numerous programs for students including the Collegiate Readership Program which provides three newspapers free to students. In the area of transportation, Cab Crawler provides discounted taxi rides and C.A.T. Prowler provides free city bus rides for students. Operation Campus Friends supports students and faculty deployed in the military. The Big Event and Just Say Hi! program improve the relationships between the community and students.
