U.S. 2 down to 1 lane through Devils Lake

Traffic has been reduced to one lane at two U.S. Highway 2 intersections in Devils Lake, the state Department of Transportation said.

Workers will install new asphalt, pedestrian ramps and traffic light sensors at the intersection with state highways 19 and 20.

The speed limit has been reduced to 25 mph during construction and a 12-foot width restriction is in place, NDDoT said. Motorists should expect delays.

The project is expected to be wrapped up in mid-August.
