BEMIDJI -- Two people suffered non-life-threatening injuries in a two-vehicle crash Saturday in Beltrami County.
Both vehicles were southbound on State Highway 89 when a Ford Ranger driven by Lyman Kingbird, 71, Red Lake, Minn., made a U-turn in front of a Chevy Malibu driven by Chris May, 34, Red Lake, and broadsided it, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
A passenger in May's vehicle, Allison Cook, 35, Red Lake, was injured but the patrol did not have an updated condition report. May and Kingbird suffered non life-threatening injuries.
The accident occurred just before 2 p.m.
