Two people were transported to Altru Hospital following a traffic accident early this afternoon on I-29 in which a semi apparently jackknifed on the railroad bridge north of the exit to Mayville, N.D., according to the Traill County E-911 Dispatch Center.
The accident occurred between 1:30 and 2 p.m. Initial reports indicate the accident occurred in the southbound lanes, backing up traffic for nearly a mile.
No other details were immediately available from police.
