CASSELTON, N.D. – Two people were injured Thursday morning in a head-on collision near here.
The crash occurred about 11:50 a.m. at Highway 18 and Interstate 94.
According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol:
Bradley Sjolin, 44, of Lisbon, N.D., was southbound on Highway 18 when he observed two cars in the southbound lane in front of him that were stopped and waiting to turn left onto I-94.
Sjolin applied his brakes to avoid the vehicles and his car swerved into the path of a northbound vehicle driven by Reid Lauderman, 60, of Leonard, N.D.

The Highway Patrol said Sjolin was traveling between 30 to 35 mph and Lauderman was driving between 40 and 45 mph.
Both men were taken to Essentia Health in Fargo.
Sjolin was treated and released for a leg injury.
Lauderman was treated for injuries to his leg and chest.
