Two injured after Roseau County Sheriff patrol car rear-ends minivan

Two men were injured in a Christmas Eve crash after a Roseau County Sheriff's Department patrol car rear-ended a van about 11 miles west of Warroad, Minn., the Minnesota State Patrol reported.

At about 3 p.m. Saturday, a westbound 2006 Chevrolet Uplander minivan slowed to make a left turn into a driveway off state Highway 11 when a westbound patrol car, a 2009 Ford Crown Victoria, rear-ended the van.

The car's two occupants, driver Logan L. Wallace, 33, of Roseau, Minn., and passenger Kenneth N. Ciak, 29, of Warroad, both suffered minor injuries, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

Their conditions were not available Sunday.

The minivan's driver, Faye E. Hammerl, 63, of Warroad, was uninjured.
