FARGO-A Twitter post may lead to criminal charges against the tweeter and a companion who snapped photos of themselves atop the Fargo Theatre's well-known marquee earlier this week.

The tweet, which was posted about 1 p.m. on Monday, May 24, boasted that the tweeter and a fellow climber "did this cool thing last night where we appeared on top of the Fargo Theatre last night."

The posting contained identifying information, including the tweeter's name and Twitter handle, as well as images that clearly showed the faces of two men next to the theater's familiar "Fargo" sign.

The tweet came to the attention of the theater's management, which filed a complaint to the Fargo Police Department. The posting has since been deleted.
