DALTON, Minn. – A driver suffered a minor injury when his truck struck a snowplow Tuesday morning on a county road in western Minnesota.
As the snowplow driver was turning around just outside Dalton on Otter Tail County Highway 82 about 8:45 a.m., the driver of the tractor-trailer was unable to see it because of poor visibility, according to an Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office report.
The semi rear-ended the plow, smashing the windshield on the truck and giving Cody Johnson of Ashby a minor cut on his head. The plow operator, Roger Lewis of Fergus Falls, wasn’t injured, and the plow was able to continue plowing.
The semi was severely damaged and was towed.
