Brittani Dargus, 23, of Thief River Falls, was seriously injured early Saturday when the vehicle she was riding in rolled over because of icy road conditions on Highway 1, about three miles west of Thief River Falls, the Minnesota State Patrol reported.
Gary Harstad, 41, of Viking, Minn., was driving the 2008 Ford Super Duty when the accident occurred about 4 a.m.
Two other passengers, Jared Voecks, 24, and Roger Passa, 29, both of Thief River Falls, suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
The patrol said the vehicle was eastbound when the driver lost control and entered the north ditch, overturned, rolled and landed upright facing west.
Harstad had no apparent injuries.
