A group of Grand Forks elementary students left school grounds Thursday during recess and were found playing on the other side of a busy street, officials said. Eight kindergarteners left Wilder Elementary School grounds during recess, walked through the underground tunnel and started playing on a grassy hill on the opposite side of Gateway Drive.
