BEMIDJI - A teenager was injured early Tuesday when he lost control of his pickup on an icy bridge here, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
Zachary Bryant, 17, of Bemidji, was traveling alone heading east on U.S. Highway 2 when he lost control on an icy bridge deck. He received nonlife-threatening injuries when the Toyota pickup struck the bridge wall at about 7:49 a.m.
The accident occurred at the West Fifth Street overpass near Bemidji. A similar accident on the same bridge injured a woman Monday.
