An Owatonna, Minn., girl was injured early today in a one-vehicle crash southeast of Crookston.

Margaret Anderson, 17, was driving a 2010 Ford Focus northbound on Minnesota State Highway 9 at about 12:08 a.m. today when the vehicle failed to stop at a stop sign at the intersection of Minnesota State Highway 102, according to a report from Minnesota State Patrol.

The vehicle continued across Highway 102 and ran into a field north of the highway, according to the report. The accident occurred about 2 miles southeast of Crookston.

Anderson received non-life-threatening injuries. She was alone in the vehicle and no other vehicles were involved, according to the report.

No information was immediately available on the extent of her injuries.
