TEDxGrandForks has added Mark J. Lindquist of Fargo to its list of speakers at its Feb. 7 event in Grand Forks.

He is a nationally-recognized speaker and entertainer who has acted in "Lost," "Hawaii Five-O" and "Battleship," according to his biography at TEDxGrandForks.com. He has also performed for various groups ranging from members of Congress to NFL teams.

Lindquist is also involved in various groups, that include Heel Kick Around the World, which organizes flash mobs.

The local TEDx event will have a total of nine speakers.
