Sylvester "Sonny" Lunski, 70, of Minto, ND died Saturday, November 25, 2006 at the Valley Eldercare, Grand Forks, ND.
Sylvester Lunski was born February 23, 1936 in Minto, ND the son of Tony and Verna (Budish) Lunski. He grew up and attended school in Minto, ND. He married Yvonne B. Narlock on February 18, 1957 in Minto, ND. They lived in Minto where he worked as a custodian at the Minto High School and ran his own Maytag Repair Service in Minto until retirement in 1990. He is survived by 4 sons, Alan (Michol) Lunski of East Grand Forks, MN, Dale (Brenda) Lunski and Michael Lunski, both of Minto, ND and Mark (Geralyn) Lunski of East Grand Forks, 13 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren, 1 brother Paul of Minto, and 2 sisters, Lorraine (Henry) Duray of Oslo, MN and Bernice Contrera of California. He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife on July 30, 2001, and 1 sister Evelyn. It was Sylvester's request that his body be donated to the University of North Dakota Anatomy Department.
