FARGO -- Fargo police responded Saturday to a report of a robbery at Gate City Bank at 1501 University Drive South.

Police Lt. Joel Vettel said at about 12:20 p.m. a man between 5-foot-6 and 5-foot-8 with a thin build, wearing a gray hoodie, blue jeans, black gloves and thin wire-rim glasses entered the Gate City Bank and handed a teller a note demanding cash.

The teller handed over an undetermined amount of cash to the man, who then fled on foot.

Fargo police said Moorhead Police K-9 unit was called to aid them in the search for the suspect, who is still at large.

Vettel said the man did not brandish a weapon.
