FARGO - Police were called to Madison Elementary today after an 11-year-old student assaulted the principal.
Principal Chris Triggs did not require an ambulance following the physical confrontation, said Fargo Public Schools spokesman Lowell Wolff.
Due to federal privacy laws involving student disciplinary records, Wolff said he couldn't provide much information about the incident.
Wolff did say the student is in a "special setting because of those kinds of tendencies."
Madison Elementary has grades K-5.
