Stephen-Argyle tops KCC, wins 73rd straight

HALLOCK, Minn. - Matt Borowicz rushed for 130 yards, scoring twice on 1-yard runs, to lead Stephen-Argyle past Kittson County Central in a matchup of Minnesota 9-man high school football unbeatens.

The Storm, ranked first in the Minnesota 9-man state poll, improved to 6-0 and extended their winning streak to a state-record 73 games.

The loss was the first in five games for Kittson County Central, which had shut out each of its opponents in its first four games.

The shutout streak was snapped when Erik Aakre kicked a 30-yard field goal as time expired in the first half.
