Sprint cellphone, data services experiencing problems after cut cable

FARGO - Sprint cellphone and data services in the area are experiencing problems after a regional fiber optic cable was cut earlier today, according to local Sprint officials.

FARGO - Sprint cellphone and data services in the area are experiencing problems after a regional fiber optic cable was cut earlier today, according to local Sprint officials.

According to a user-post on Sprint's official community website, a fiber optic cable was cut near St. Cloud, Minn., and the company is hoping it will be fixed by tonight or Wednesday morning.

The Forum and the Herald are both owned by Forum Communications Co.
