Sioux players honored by Great West

UND's Jake Landry, Greg Hardin and Josh Murray are Great West Football Conference players of the week after their performance in Saturday's 49-24 win against Northwestern State of Louisiana.

UND's Jake Landry, Greg Hardin and Josh Murray are Great West Football Conference players of the week after their performance in Saturday's 49-24 win against Northwestern State of Louisiana.

Landry and Hardin share the league's offensive player of the week honor. Murray is the league's special teams player of the week.

Landry completed 13-of-21 passes for 300 yards and four touchdowns. He leads the Great West in pass efficiency (143.9).

Hardin caught five of the passes for 177 yards and three touchdowns. His three receiving touchdowns tied the school's single-game record for receiving touchdowns. Weston Dressler, Jim Kleinsasser, Jeff McElroy, Tim Gelinske and Tracy Martin all caught three touchdown passes in a game for the Sioux.

Hardin also leads the league in receiving yards per game (112.0), touchdowns (six) and scoring (36 points). He's the only player in the Great West averaging more than 100 receiving yards per game.

Murray returned a punt 60 yards for a touchdown in Saturday's game.
