Today we can expect it to be mostly cloudy, with a high near 9 with wind chill values as low as -20. Winds will be 8 to 15 mph from the northeast and then becoming southeast. Winds could gust as high as 18 mph according to the National Weather Service.

Snow likely tonight, cloudy, with a low about 9. There will be a southeast wind between 6 and 14 mph, with gusts as high as 18 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60 percent with new snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches possible.

Wednesday it will be mostly cloudy with a 30 percent chance of light snow. Highs will be from 5 to 10. It will be breezy with north winds about 10 mph increasing to

20 mph from winds shifting to the northwest in the afternoon.

Highways in the area can have scattered snow and ice and some roads are compacted with snow.

Interstate 29 has compacted snow from Buxton to Grand Forks.

U.S. 2 has scattered snow from Leeds to Lakota. There is compacted snow From Grand Forks Air Force Base to Grand Forks, there is scattered ice from Lakota to GFAFB.
