Jury selection in the trial of a Redby, Minn., man accused of sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl is set to start today in Roseau, Minn.
Timothy Bahr's trial is scheduled to last until Friday, the Roseau County clerk of court's office said.
A criminal complaint accuses Bahr of giving the girl alcoholic drinks and sexually assaulting her when she was intoxicated one night in April, May or June 2009 at a residence in Warroad, Minn.
During an interview with investigators, Bahr acknowledged giving the girl booze but said he blacked out from drinking alcohol and smoking marijuana that night and does not remember everything that happened, the complaint says.
Bahr, 22, has pleaded not guilty to two charges of first-degree criminal sexual conduct and three charges of third-degree criminal sexual conduct.
