Tom Buning's resignation as UND athletic director is effective Nov. 2.
Here are some other things the sides agreed on as a severance package:
-- Fourteen months of salary, at $123,188 annually.
-- Health insurance through July 30 or the date of final lump sum payment in 2008, whichever comes first.
-- Salary to be paid in installments of $61,594 on Nov. 12, $71,859 on Jan. 2 and $10,265 on Aug. 1. Each salary payment will have deductions made for federal and state taxes.
