Senate candidate Sorum to hold coffee and conversation events

A Fargo architect seeking state Republicans' nomination for the U.S. Senate race will hold two coffee and conversation gatherings this weekend, he said Wednesday.

A Fargo architect seeking state Republicans' nomination for the U.S. Senate race will hold two coffee and conversation gatherings this weekend, he said Wednesday.

Paul Sorum will be in the conference room of Fargo's Babbs Coffee House from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday and will hold a similar appearance from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Sunday at Cozy Creek Coffee and Gifts in Bismarck.

Sorum is also planning a town hall meeting March 19 at the Canad Inns in Grand Forks during the first night of the Republican state convention. Gov. John Hoeven is also seeking the Republican nomination for the Senate.

Delegates will formally announce the party candidates March 20.
