Jasper Schneider, a North Dakota state representative from Fargo's District 21, is a Democrat-NPL candidate for state insurance commissioner.
He confirmed those plans at news conferences in Grand Forks and Minot today.
Schneider served on the Human Services, Government and Veterans Affairs and Constitutional Revision Committees during the last legislative session. He also is an attorney at the Schneider Law Firm, an adjunct professor at Minnesota State University Moorhead and a small business owner.
