BISMARCK -- A spill that released about 320 barrels of saltwater was reported Thursday about 25 miles southwest of Watford City, the state Department of Mineral Resources’ Oil and Gas Division stated in a release.
The spill, which was reported to state officials by Alturas Energy LLC, included about three barrels of oil.
The spill was “contained and recovered,” and a state inspector was dispatched to the scene, the release said.
