The North Dakota Department of Emergency Services said damage assessments from the July tornadoes that struck Rolette County are nearing completion.
The state has submitted a formal request for permanent housing to the Federal Emergency Management Agency.
The tornadoes affected 70 structures in the Belcourt, N.D., area, 35 of which were not insured.
Of the uninsured, seven homes were destroyed and 28 damaged.
Rolla, N.D., reports 12 homes have destroyed and 18 damaged.

The North Dakota Department of Human Services issued $2,712 replacement food assistance benefits to seven households.
