Drivers on U.S. Highway 75 and state Highway 200 in northwest Minnesota will see lane closures and delays beginning May 11 as road work ramps up.
Crews will be resurfacing Highway 75 from County Road 19 just north of Halstad to Mauritson Avenue in Shelly, according to a Minnesota Department of Transportation news release. Highway 200 will be resurfaced from the North Dakota border to 240th Avenue in Halstad.
A one-week detour along Highway 75 a half-mile north of Halstad will start May 18, the release said. Traffic will be detoured east a half-mile on County 19, south one half-mile on County Road 51, and then west one half-mile on County 51 back to Highway 75.
The project is expected to conclude in mid-June.
