The Alexander Henry Rest Area, located about 40 miles north of Grand Forks, is temporarily closed to southbound traffic due to road construction along Interstate 29.
A chip seal repair project on the roadway is the cause of the closure, the North Dakota Department of Transportation said.
The rest area will open to southbound traffic Thursday.
