As part of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, a local victims' advocacy group is putting on a rally to end domestic violence.
Community Violence Intervention Center is hosting the rally, which kicks off tomorrow with an art reception and hors d'oeuvres at 4:30 p.m. in the Empire Arts Center on Demers Avenue downtown.
At 5:30, speakers will share their stories with attendees, with state Senator Mac Schneider as emcee.
