MOORHEAD - Crews continue to search for a vehicle that possibly went into the Red River on the Moorhead side.
The call came in just after 2 a.m. Saturday.
Witnesses said they saw a vehicle enter the river near Trefoil Park.
Police, firefighters, and Valley Water Rescue responded, but after hours of searching still have not located the vehicle.
Officials with the Moorhead Fire Department say they left the scene around 7 a.m., but Moorhead PD and the Red River Valley Dive team continues the search. The situation has shifted from a rescue effort to a recovery.
