BEMIDJI, Minn. -- A Redby man accused with two other people of conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine on the Red Lake Indian Reservation has pleaded guilty.
Joseph “Jake” Thunder III, 47, was arrested in May and accused of trying to transport 43 grams of methamphetamine to the reservation from the Twin Cities.
Thunder was stopped on U.S. Highway 71 south of Bemidji along with Alex “Sparky” Dejesus-Zuniga, 18, and Delisha Rae Rodriguez, 25, both of Richfield.
All three were charged with first-degree conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine.

Thunder pleaded not guilty in June but changed his plea to guilty Friday.
The other two suspects have pleaded not guilty. Dejesus-Zuniga also is charged with giving a peace officer a false name with intent to obstruct justice.
Thunder is scheduled for sentencing Aug. 25. He faces a maximum sentence of 30 years in prison and a $1,000,000 fine.
Rodriguez, Thunder and Dejesus-Zuniga were being held in the Beltrami County Jail.
