The river level was at 19.44 feet at 6:15 a.m. and is projected to drop below the flood stage of 18 feet between 7 p.m. today and 1 a.m. Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service office in Grand Forks.

A flood warning remained in effect this morning for Cass and Clay counties. Minor flooding continued on the Buffalo River at Dilworth and the south branch of the Buffalo River at Sabin, Minn.

The Red River at Fargo crested at 25.48 feet Friday morning, nearly half a foot above moderate flood stage.
