NEW LEIPZIG -- A water main break in New Leipzig caused a water outage in the small Grant County town Wednesday night.
The water main broke sometime Wednesday evening. It was then fixed, but broke again on Thursday.
Grant County Emergency Manager Joann Ozburn said the cause of the break is unknown, but that it was fixed again on Thursday afternoon around 2 p.m.
Ozburn said there is a boil order for residents until further notice, as the city is testing the water.
Volunteers with the American Red Cross will be delivering bottled water to the New Leipzig City Hall from 5-8 p.m. Thursday and again from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday.
