A Valley City, N.D., man was arrested Wednesday after a short pursuit on Interstate 94.
A North Dakota Highway Patrol trooper attempted to stop Jason David Anderson, 42, after several callers reported him driving his Mercury Grand Marquis recklessly, according to a news release.
The trooper attempted to make a traffic stop near Oriska, N.D., going west on I-94, but Anderson did not pull over until a few miles later at Valley City exit 292. He was arrested for felony driving under the influence, resisting arrest and misdemeanor fleeing law enforcement. He was taken to the North Dakota State Hospital in Jamestown, N.D.
The Barnes County Sheriff’s Office and Valley City Police Department assisted with the incident.
