The 44th annual Potato Bowl USA week kicks off today at UND.
The week's events include the popular World's Largest French Fry Feed on Thursday in University Park and a parade Saturday before UND's football game against the Seawolves of Stony Brook, N.Y. Here's a full schedule of events:
Today
Hugo's Potato Bowl Pete hidden medallion contest begins.
Tuesday

Noon: Hugo's Potato Bowl USA golf scramble. Open to all -- Valley Golf Course, East Grand Forks. Four-person teams. Registration and lunch at noon, tee off 1 p.m.

Wednesday
Potato chip giveaway: Columbia Mall
Thursday
Potato chip giveaway: Community Bank of the Red River Valley, all bank locations.
11 a.m. to 2 p.m.: Baked potato bar at all Hugo's locations.
4:30 p.m.: World's Largest French Fry Feed, sponsored by Simplot, University Park. Hot dog/soda stands, large inflatable games, meet the Sioux athletes, potato-picking contest and live music.

7:30 p.m.: Rydell fireworks display and pep rally - Memorial Stadium (tune to Lite Rock 104.3 FM for choreographed fireworks music).
Friday
Noon: Sioux booster luncheon, Alerus Center.
11 a.m. to 2 p.m.: Baked potato bar will be served at all Hugo's locations.
Saturday
7:30 to 10:30 a.m.: Grand Forks Rotary Club pancake breakfast at Grand Forks Central School.
8 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.: Sons of Norway potato pancake breakfast,

8:30 a.m.: Hugo's Potato Bowl 8 K Race.
9:30 a.m.: Jaycees Potato Bowl Parade.
11 a.m.: Potato Bowl tailgate party, Alerus Center parking lot. Baked potato bar.
1 p.m.: 44th Annual Potato Bowl Football game, UND vs. Stone Brook, N.Y.
