Two polls released by the GOP Wednesday said Rep. Kevin Cramer, R-N.D., is ahead of Democratic opponent George Sinner by 10 points.
An earlier poll conducted for the Sinner campaign said he was ahead by 2 points.
Of the GOP polls, one was conducted by Odney for the Cramer campaign. It said 45 percent of North Dakotans favor Cramer, 35 percent Sinner, 3 percent Libertarian candidate Robert “Jack” Seaman and 16 percent were undecided.

The margin of error was 5 percent.
The other GOP poll was conducted by Wilson Perkins Allen Opinion Research, which works primarily with the Republican Party. It said 48 percent favor Cramer, 38 percent Sinner and 12 percent were undecided. WPA didn’t say who the remaining 2 percent favored.
Among likely voters, the gap narrowed to 48 percent Cramer and 40 percent Sinner.
The margin of error was 4.9 percent.
Sinner’s poll, which was not formally released to news media, was conducted by the Mellman Group. Focusing on a “registration-based” sample, it said 40 percent favored Sinner, 38 percent Cramer, 5 percent Seaman and 17 percent were undecided.
The margin of error was 4.9 percent.
