Polk County to close some highways for repairs

The Polk County Highway Department has 10 construction projects scheduled this year on county roads. Here is the list:

- County State Access Highway 5: Bituminous overlay from CSAH 6, 10 miles north of Fosston to the east county line.

- CSAH 10: Grading, bituminous overlay from south county line to Mentor, Minn.

- CSAH 12: Bituminous overlay from State Highway 32 in Fertile to U.S. Highway 2 in Mentor.

- CSAH 14: Bituminous overlay from south county line to CSAH 45, 5 miles south of Crookston.

- CSAH 22: Bituminous overlay from State Highway 220, 9 miles north of East Grand Forks to north county line.

- CSAH 37: Bituminous surfacing and aggregate shouldering from CSAH 10, 5 miles south of Mentor to CSAH 34.

- CSAH 45: Bituminous overlay in Mentor.

- CSAH 61: Grading and aggregate surfacing, 4 miles west of U.S. 2, Crookston.

- CSAH 106: Bituminous overlay in Mentor.

- CSAH 113: Bituminous overlay in Mentor.

No timetable has been released for when construction will begin.
